Projecting the CFP top 12 at midseason and their toughest remaining games

The Los Angeles Dodgers opened the season as favorites to win the World Series and finished the regular season season that way. The Dodgers had opened at +550, moved to +450 after signing Shohei Ohtani in the offseason and now sit at +425 at ESPN BET after a complete thrashing at the hands of the San Diego Padres in Game 2 of the NLDS.

Once again the New York Yankees hold top honors of being the World Series favorites as they prepare for their ALDS Game 2 battle with the Kansas City Royals. The team finds itself at +250 to celebrate with champagne come November.

The Philadelphia Phillies (+425) are back to being the NL favorites after holding off the tenacious New York Mets in Game 2 of the NLDS to even that best-of-five series 1-1.

Game 2 for both American League series take place on Monday. It is an off day for the National League teams, with those series resuming on Tuesday.
